Vermicomposting

Vermicomposting is a process that involves bio-oxidation and stabilization of the organic material with the joint action of the composting worms and microorganisms. It acts as a tool for organic waste management. Basically, in this process composting worms are fed with organic waste in a compost pit so that they can digest it and turn it into an excellent biofertilizer commonly known as vermicompost.
